The impact of the vibration transmitted in the liquid on the air heater
The vibration transmitted by the single-head electric heating tube through the liquid includes two types, one is the longitudinal vibration parallel to the flow direction, and the other is the lateral vibration perpendicular to the flow direction, in which the lateral vibration damages the air heater greatly.
We can change the impact of vibration on the air heater by the following methods:
1. The single-head electric heating tube reduces the flow speed, which can be achieved by increasing the tube center distance.
2. Increasing the wall thickness is also a measure to improve the vibration of the air heater. This method is basically to change the natural frequency of the air heater pipe, thereby reducing the resonance caused by the vibration.
We can also change it by changing the diameter of the pipe. The air heater is a very important heating device, but vibration will increase the abrasion of the air heater’s pipes and baffles, and the single-head electric heating tube will affect the use of the air heater.
The air heater uses water as the heat transfer medium. Vibration can be transmitted through the liquid. The transmission of vibration in the liquid is difficult for us to predict. However, the damage to the air heater by the vibration transmitted in the liquid is very obvious.
