It’s common to install air ducts on the roof of industrial and commercial areas and buildings. An pipeline heater is composed of an immersion heater covered by an anti-corrosion metallic vessel chamber. This casing is mainly used for insulation to prevent heat loss in the circulation system. Heat loss is not only inefficient in terms of energy usage but it would also cause unnecessary operation expenses. A pump unit is used to transport the inlet fluid into the circulation system. The fluid is then circulated and reheated in a closed loop circuit around the immersion heater continuously until the desired temperature is reached. The heating medium will then flow out of the outlet nozzle at a fixed flow rate determined by the temperature control mechanism.

Duct heaters are mainly used for heating air through the duct. There are three types,

low temperature, middle temperature and high temperature. The outer stainless steel sheath and construction can reduce the vibration of heating elements. There is a overheat protector in the terminal box. Air pressure through the duct should not exceed 0.3KG/cm². Or else it is better use recirculation duct heaters.Maxtemperature of low temperature duct heater is not more than 160 C. Max temperature of middle temperature duct heater is not more than 260 C. Max temperature of high temperature duct heater is not more than 850 C.

From the inside out: inner chamber(stainless steel)→ heating element(S.S304 finned tube)→insulating layer(aluminum silicate wool)→outermost shell(carbon steel/stainless steel)
